Asheboro, N.C. (August 20, 2018) – The Southwestern Randolph varsity volleyball team stays undefeated with a win over Trinity in three sets.

Southwestern Randolph improved to 3-0 on the season Monday night. It was certain that the Cougars came out with a purpose with a 25-16 win in the first set and that purpose was to remain undefeated.

Trinity made it clear in the second set that they were not going done without a fight. After getting down early in the second set, the Bulldogs coach called a timeout to rally his players. It made an immediate impact as they started to climb back in it. Despite the Bulldogs’ effort, they were unsuccessful at holding off the Cougars march. SWR would take the second set 25-23 in the closest game of the night.

The Cougars put the Bulldogs away with a 25-20 win in the third set.
